It’s been quite a while since the last post. This time of the year is the busiest and most hectic.
But Hunt for Design is back. This time I want to show you a small project in Barcelona. Casa Gracia is one of the coolest hostels in the city, if not the coolest one.
Jardinets is a small square/gardens at the beginning of Paseo de Gracia, the street where you can find all the designer shops and some of the most photographed of Gaudi’s buildings. There is no better spot for this hostel that feels luxurious and like nothing you have experienced before.
Casa Gracia is refurbishing its corridors, rooms and comunal areas. With the help of Pelusa Ruiz, an amazing interior designer and best friend.
There is a big terrace that was begging for an upgrade, especially with the weather you can expect in Barcelona. This is a place for gathering and catching up, having a drink and some nibbles; a patio where you can admire the oranges hanging from the trees and enjoy the scent of rosemary, thyme and mint.
With that in mind and trying to create a space that wouldn’t clash with the rest of the decoration, this was the result:
